There weren’t many surprises in Round 1 of the?Star WarsShowdown, as almost all of the characters favored to win indeed came out on top. And look, we know that some of those first-round match-ups were gimmes — Vader was going to destroy almost anyone he came up against — but we wanted to begin with 32 characters to provide a bit of variety and have a little extra fun. Now that we’re down to the “Sweet 16,” though, the choices are going to get a little tougher. Most of the main players from the original trilogy are still in it, accompanied by a handful of memorable characters from the prequel trilogy and exactly two from the current trilogy, and that feels just about right to us.
