The end of?what is collectively known by fans as the “Skywalker Saga” is nigh upon us, with?completing an epic story that began — albeit in the middle — over 40 years ago. Over the course of nine films, audiences have been introduced to a multitude of characters and creatures, and while a few have held both good and bad intentions, most of them have fallen?pretty squarely on one side of the spectrum or the other — on the light side or the dark side, if you will.Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

With that in mind, we thought it would be fun to see what would happen if we pitted 16 of the most memorable heroes and villains from theagainst each other in a bracket-style poll and let all of you vote on them. Now, there are a lot more than just 32 significant characters, of course, but we wanted to keep things a little interesting, so while we know everyone loves Wedge and BB-8 and the Ewoks (no? not the Ewoks?), there just wasn’t enough space for them here.live-action?Star Warsfilms
